Deqin Meri Poodom Hotel is located at the 3,600-meter-high Meili Snow Mountain Observation Deck, built seamlessly into the mountain's natural contours. The journey from the city to Meili represents a gradual transition from the mundane to the spiritual. W.Design explores expressions of “locality,” creating a “home in the snow-capped mountains” for travelers. This concept inspires the design ethos: a sanctuary where the soul can find peace.
The hotel’s design is based on the concept of “Tnkhar,” which means “Stone house” in Tibetan and represents the fundamental form of Tibetan dwellings. The thirteen sacred peaks are central to the faith of the Tibetan people, and all guest rooms are oriented toward the snow mountains, offering unparalleled views. This thoughtful orientation redefines the sensory experience of visitors in this unique geographic setting, allowing them to truly immerse in the majesty of Meili Snow Mountain.
